I am looking for any tips/experiences regarding sampling your outboard synths. For example i want to sample my external synth to kontakt format. Did anyone try samplerobot or extreme sample converter? Or maybe Cdxtract Samplit?
Any experience with them?

What is best way(and fast) to do this? I believe there are some nice apps which can do that. So far sample robot seems to be best. Can i somehow import patchnames or i must name it all one by one?

On what i must put attention? Enevelopes? Sampling time etc. ??

Same question i have for sampling VSTi of course...

Thanks for any help ;)

I Multisampled my Korg X2 and Gem Equinox with Buzz and Awave.
Nowadays appz work better but anyway, it implies a lot of work.
If you plan to sample a lot of patches, first you should optimize the workflow to avoid problems.

Extreme Sample Converter works best for me... But I typically don't do massive 'bulk' sampling.

Keep in mind, its a ton of work to do this properly. You'll need to manually loop each wav unless you are very unpicky (auto-looping is pretty iffy)

Yeah, I totally agree on the looping being the toughest part. I recommend using either Wavelab or Zero-X Seamless Looper for the task. On OSX there's also Redmaticas Autosampler and Keymap, both being brilliant.
But, as has been said, no matter how you put it, looping (and partially mapping) is going to be the hardest part and a lot of work in any case, especially when sampling more or less complexed sounds.
You could of course skip the looping and record long enough samples, but that'd easily fill your disks quickly.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

I find that the auto-looping features in the latest version of Sample Robot can produce excellent results. However, Sample robot is one of the more expensive pieces of sampling software.

Just my two cents.
