Well, I just got this installed and have spent about 30min. playing with it. Okay,If there is anybody (like me) who has been spending less time writing and creating music, then this is for you. I have heard and tried out about everything out there and this is by far the best sounding and easiest yet.. I actually bought EzDrummer for the same reasons. I have BFD (which I like), but was never happy because I was always trying to make something sound better etcc.. I had to come to my senses. What am I really wanting to do. Write/create or be a engineer etc..So for me this is my way back to what "I" love to do. Sorry for the book. But I know there are people out there with the same problem and maybe this will help you make a decision
)Thanks guys for giving my sanity back..

Pfft! No book, dude.
I currently have the same dilemma - I love writing/composing more than anything, and I just engineer to do stuff that I wrote. So thanks for posting this! I actually bought the Drums on Demand one-shot CD for drum .wav samples and this is along the lines of your own need of getting it uncomplicated.
You wouldn't, with cajoling, be willing to post a couple examples of you just messing around with some of the various bass tones, would you? Sometimes I think that official demos are very biased towards those that know the gear and have other things going on in the mix that takes your focus away from the thing itself.
Thanks, and no biggie if not...

I'd love to hear more user demos, too!

Well, PLEASE give me a bit more time
) Unless you just want me to send you a file with just the different tones etcc. I can promise that this sounds excactly as what is on the site. Believe me I have been fooled before with some demos posted on sites. I personally think they have been VERY conservative.. So what you hear/see is what you get.. Anyway, just let me know. And, I will get a song on here as soon as possible..

This is the main reason I switched from Reason 3.0. I was constantly trying to make instruments and patches sound better and it took away from creativity. Lets get real I make music, I'm not an engineer.

Tommy Waggoner is such a cool rugged texan sounding name. I'm thinking of changing my last name to Mcluvin..
Thanks for the info.. A friend recently bought a Mac with Garage Band and was making full sounding songs in a week. I have to admit I was a bit pissed considering how much $ and time I've spent on getting things to sound 'just right'. Anything that makes it easier to do what you love gets thumbs up from me!

Lagrange, I can already tell this is going to speed my songwriting up !! Really it is (so far) that easy. I still need to read the manual and learn. I was just messing around with the amp settings. I had a track with a real bass track and compared the two and I am getting pretty darn close, noise and all
