I mainly use it as a midi controller hooked to my PC and I've been playing with different samplers and vsti synths... I've loved Kontakt2 with different libraries like EWQL's RA and Colossus, reFX's Nexus, and LUXONIX Ravity because of the variety.. But nothing hit me like my latest purchase, sonicproject's OP-X, an Oberheim OB-X clone vsti!! It's fat fat FAT and the portamento rocks for great linear solos! Total retro old skool analog to the max! I really encourage anyone that enjoys/uses analog-type vstis, get the OP-X--you'll not be sorry.

I'm just jealous of your EWI. I used to play clarinet, and a wind controller seems like a natural interface for dynamic, expressive performances. Oh well, perhaps someday...

That is the most ridiculous post I've seen in a long time... Oh wait, someone who just registered to the forum. Figures.

Yes it's an amazing instrument.. what I meant by getting so excited about that plugin is the amazement of how well it does.. with my EWI ..I should have been more clear about that.
