Touchpad2midi

Hi
I wanted to try the TOuchPad2midi plugin, but it didn't work in any of my hosts :

- The plugin was not found in Reaper

- In Ext2, using some midi out plugin, it didn't work either, and caused the program to crash :

- In Live5.2 (must we use the standalaone ? can't we make a midi track, and route the track's output to another midi track ?), i had enabled the [maj] on my keyboard, but the touchpad was still controlling the mouse cursor..


May it come from the plugin, or maybe from the Touchpad ?

If I remember right touchpad2midi only works with a specific type of touchpad...

Yes.
On the manual, i see it works with Synaptics Touchpad.
I think mine is SYnaptics, but i am not sure (and i don't know how to tell).
[edit : there is a "synaptics" folder on my C:program files, so i think it is !]

Mmmm i've try to load touchpad2midi on my system (not a notebook, so I don't have a Synaptics touchpad for sure) and when I press the Caps Lock the host crashes (Ext1)... I think you could try to write to the author and explain this issue.
