Anyone know of something like this?
I've checked out FW2 which would be perfect if it could SEARCH. And the other ones whose names I can't rememebr, couldn't do 24 bit, and one was spyware.
I need: Something that can browse/search through waves 'ableton style', and then I can drag said waves into guru or Highlife while using Sonar 6.
Any ideas?

I would like a system that does thing the way i envision Vista does.
Search for all audio.
Group select some samples based on location and or file name.
Add Meta data to them (BD, compressed, short).
Create virtual search folders that return direct links to all samples that fit what you are looking for and are automatically updated.
(I guess iTunes kind of works like this too)

Need something like Picasa for samples. I've not seen it yet, but I can't honestly claim to have done a lot of looking.

You can also filter the filetype, it has a search and a tag function, etc.
It became a powerfull program.

Total Commander with various audio plugins. Takes a LOT of work to setup, but it's a great program.

Thanks for the replies all.
I'll check out Total Commander again. But IIRC, I couldn't drag from it to Guru or Highlife in Sonar. Or maybe it was that didn't have an integrated audition. maybe the plugins will help with this? (I was checking so many, that I lost track of the names!)
