Hey guys, I have a library of orchestra multisamples that I want to turn into a single NKI instrument to use in kontakt. Every instrument has a .wav sample for each note in its perspective octave range.

Anyone know where to begin? Im quite the noob when it comes to multi sampling.

Well if you had the manual (wink, wink - we know why you dont) you'd have complete directions.

I have the tutorial dvd and i dont remember seeing anything about making multisample instruments.. I was wondering if theres a program outside of kontakt that specializes in doing this.. like just dropping in your samples and it puts it into 1 single instrument.

like i said, im a noob with sampling so the manual goes a bit over my head sometimes.. Ive been using kontakt for the included libraries and light synthesis.

It's an incredibly tedious and painful process...

I'd suggest creating a .sfz mapping first and then importing that into Kontakt. Except K2 usually barfs on .sfz files...

How do i turn a series of .wav's into 1 nki instrument?
