BR: XT2 crashes on exit

XP SP2, ESI Juli@ audio card.
XT2 crashes on exit every single time, and leaves the sound card hanging. I have to reboot.
It seems OK, asks me to save and all that, but then I get the MS 'you've crashed, want to send a report?' message and after that the sound card is unavailable to other apps.
Need more details?

Does it occur with a special project only or generally?
If it happens with a special project only, does this project contain a drum-track?
I can reproduce such behaviour with project where drum track is involved and used in a certain way...

do you have asio4all installed?
dose it happen with the asio4all driver (or any other driver than the Juli@?
sounds like a asio driver + XT2 thing,
if it doesn't happen with asio4all you could look for updated drivers (or roll back to older drivers) for your sound card to see if that fix's it?

If this isn't on the known issue list already it will be in a second. I haven't had this problem but a bunch of people have.
You might not need to reboot. Open the task manager->processes. Is there still an "EnergyXT2.exe" process in the list? If so kill it. You should be good to go.

I don't use ASIO4ALL, I use the Juli@ ASIO driver. I will look for an updated driver, that hasn't crossed my mind for a few months now.
It is completely independent of the project I have loaded, and, indeed, happens every single time I close XT2, even with absolutely nothing but the modular space loaded.
I can't remember if killing the process helps. I'll try it when I get home and report.
Edit: This is only one of the reasons that I don't use XT2 much, and that again is one of the reasons why I haven't reported it before. I'm out of the beta testing loop...

If I use the asio driver at work I can kill xt2 upon a crash using task manager and restart (xp2 os) but at home if I use the asio driver for the maya 44mkII (w2k) I have to reboot

Crashes here as well, every time on exit. Main reason why I consider XT2 a beta version.
XP, M-Audio FT pro.
