Recorded some random grooves one day and chopped them into loops. Still learning about playing and recording drums, these turned out pretty good in my opinion, hope you all enjoy.

I like them, the playing isn't perfect and it isn't god-awful cheesy.

Cool. I just started back in January and am still learning new things and getting my timing a little better.
I've found when layered having the beats off a hair can add more energy, of course it can take away energy too.

Thanks

G'day mate,

I hate to be critical, but I'm not really fussed on your playing - can't imagine being able to use it in a song. Keep practising, preferably with a metronome!

That being said, I really dig the sounds you're getting out of your kit, so if you ever decided to sample each piece separately, I'd love to hear about it, even if you only did one velocity layer or whatever :)

I'm not too worried and I wasn't using a metronome, but usually do.....I tend to get more ideas out if I don't and am just recording loops......anyway enough defense, my kit is posted at karamoon.com and has two slightly different recordings with 3 layers each

Wow, thanks very much, mate! Didn't mean to hassle you in my other post, as you're very generous in sharing this stuff, but for me personally (or professionally when booking someone), a drummer is first and foremost supposed to keep time, and I'd much rather that to flamboyant playing. You sound like you've got some great ideas, so it's only the timing which I reckon needs work :)

Thanks very much for your samples, mate!
