Seeking Alternative to Novation Remote 37 SL w/Sonar 6

So, besides wanting more octaves, I lack the time/patience to get the Remote more fully automated with numerous VSTs, tired of dealing with the complexity (that I'd hoped automap would put an end to), made worse by overlapping/confusion/conflicts with Sonar's ACT automation feature, therefore looking for a 3- or 4-octave controller that works well with Sonar, any advice? Axiom?
