Get a used Kawai K5000S and the Sound Diver editor for it (and the Wizzoo book for the K5000 by Peter Gorges if you can find it). You can even import waveforms for resynthesis in the SD editor. At the very least, you'll get one of the best synth keyboard actions ever made.bluebyte wrote:Hello,

Sadly, that is too true of pure additive synthesis. A noise generator with an envelope is a great help in overcoming that limitation. Check out VirSyn's MicroTera, it has such a feature built in, which lets you get excellent breathy sounds for horns:By the way, do not expect creating any sound with additive. It does pure noise pretty badly.
