What plugs does anyone recommend to attain a robot sound, with no hint of the dry signal coming through? Even if its just one flat note at a time, that'd be cool. I could make melodies with melodyne.

Hey, maybe try our Robotronic, its a cool vocoder

includes formant shifting, so it covers a lot of possible robot voices.

If you are looking for metallic sounds and robotic echoes Virtuasonic Combscape should do the job.

I'm looking for a pure robot voice, perhaps similar to Kraftwerk. There used to be a small yellow analog guitar pedal type thing made by Boss that had really good robot sounds. You just set it to a pitch in robot mode and it was really robotic. If I could find that, I could record the vocal track with that and then control melodies with it via melodyne. Ive been trying out various vocoders but the dry original voice seems to leak through the mix in all of them. You can still hear my original voice blending in, which makes it human.

There's a thing to change how much 'dry' is passing through with g200kg vOcOv, as well as the intensity of the vocoding.

if you want a robot voice (see my myspace site to hear it) invest in (cheap price! look on amazon or ebay) ejay dance 6. that program has some really valuable instruments.

Have you looked at text-to-speech software? MacOS has it built-in, and I think Windows does too. There are also programs like VocalWriter that let you control the pitch.

image line fruity vocoder works well... you just drop the modulator and peak the carrier

Pure robot sound - truely flat pitch, no dry mixed in
