I don't think so, those are strictly Kompakt/Intakt formats.
If you're lucky, you might be able to open them in Kontakt and save them as a .nki file.
CDXtract or Extreme Sample Converter should be able to convert that into other sample formats. Maybe someone else could verify this, I've never used them.
Peter.

Translator www.chickensys.com can convert .nkm files to any format you wish. I do not believe CDXtract or ESC supports .nkm files.
.nks files are the container NI uses for their (actually licensed developers) Player libraries. They usually contain encrypted samples, which is what you wanted to extract - and no, you can't. If there was a way, it would undercut the developers libraries copy protection.
Best thing to do is to contact the developer that gave you the .nks files with their library, and ask if they have a version of the format you wish. If they don't, try to persuade them to. (Good luck.)
Translator will convert .nkm (that is, Kontakt Multi) files, but if they reference external samples within .nks files, you'll just hear noise.
Players from NI are pretty reliable and aren't hard on your computer; it's usually not necessary to convert them anyway.

As an extreme confident ESC user I would like to make a correction here: Extreme Sample Converter does support .nkm files.chickeneps wrote:Translator www.chickensys.com can convert .nkm files to any format you wish. I do not believe CDXtract or ESC supports .nkm files.
To be complete: ESC supports both .nki and .nkm files, CDXtract only supports .nki files.
Best Regards

I meant to say that ESC can't convert ALL .nkm's; it can't convert monoliths, for example.
Translator can convert all .nkm's, even those referencing encrypted samples (although the results will be noisy). Plus Translator can convert Kontakt Banks (.nkb's), .nki monoliths, Groups (.nkg), and all Battery 3 variants - cells, monotihs, etc.
ESC does convert most .nkm's (non-monlith, without Banks), and I heard does a pretty good job at it.
