Hi. Has anyone tried the Rode M3? I'm looking for a mic to record female vocals and have found my NT-1a to be a little harsh, brittle and siblant. I'm also thinking about the MXL V67g and KEL Audio HM-1 or HM-2d? Would the Rode be a better option?

seems to me (and it's been a couple of years since I worked on anything with vocals) the nt2-a was the "hot mama" for female vocals.........of course that was a few brain cells ago...........
