I recently had a harddrive fail and had to re-install stampltank2 XL among other things- I noticed a warning that I only have 2 activation codes left- what does this mean?? I can only update my ST2 XL or re-install windows two more times before I cant use my sampletank?? I am confused- thanks in advance for your time

OK- I just updated to version 2.2(I was waiting on a Ram question for 2.5)- and when I went to open sampletank2 in cubase SX it gives me 2 options; sampletank2 and "sampletank 2.x"- then it asks me to choose the correct file location or signal path(cant remember exactly what it said) but has one already selected for me so I just went with it- how do you verify the file path is right?, it just shows part of it in the field and I dont know how to see the full file location name- I tried resting the cursor on it and right clicking etc- the reason I ask is because when I selected "Sampletank2.x" in cubase it opened up- but there were no sounds!- I pressed the re-list button ect- nothing- so I closed it then selected Sampletank2 and it worked and the sounds were there- so what did I do wrong? Was I supposed to uninstall my original Sampletank2 first before updating?? I didnt see this instruction in the update guide or on the website(i didnt search FAQ tho) nor did I see any mention of file path select window when you first open the update

IIRC, both 2.0 and 2.x can reside side by side on your hard drive. Ultimately however, I think you will want to go with 2.x because it is this version that will be sought on additional upgrades through the current 2.5.

The reason your 2.x version had no sounds is because you haven't provided it with a path to the sounds folder. I believe if you go through the OPTIONS page, you should be able to designate the correct folder. After doing this, run the re-list, and you should be all set.
