Behringer Xenyx 1622FX vs 1222FX
Both these can be obtained over here for £125
Specs are at:

The 1222FX looks to have a load more features than the 1622FX, or am I missing something?
Both are identically described as "Premium 16-Input 2/2-Bus Mixer with XENYX Mic Preamps, British EQs, 24-Bit Multi-FX Processor and USB/Audio Interface", but obviously the 1222FX has two more mic inputs, 7 band eq, feedback canceller and voice canceller.
I don't know that much about mixers, but I'm sure either of these would be adequate for my needs.

Without going into the details: the 1222 looks better suited to Live usage (master graphical EQ, 6 mic preamps) while the 1622 looks suited to studio usage (no master EQ, less mic preamps, seperate subgroup!) Those extra buttons per channel is what makes this one have more usable features in a project studio than the 1222.

Thanks C00kie - I see now the 1622 has a load more connections on the back
