M-Audio headphone output as headphone amp ??

Does the M-Audio Ozone headphone output acts as headphone amplifier, too ? Is it sufficient to drive a 55ohms headphone like the AKG240S ? Or do I need to buy an extra separate headphone amplifier ?

It's probably sufficient. In the manual you'll see at the block diagram at the end that it features a headphone amp. No specs on the wattage and impedance alas, but one should think it would suffice...

Yes, I saw it. But is the quality good enough ? Will a better headphone amp make my AKG shine better ?
