Hi all,

I bought some time ago an Oberheim MC-1000 88 keyboard. After some time, I noticed that a key seemed to be slightly more responsive to velocity than the rest. So I checked it using MIDI-OX, pressing the keys in pairs, at the same time and with the same strength, and there're some of them with a little difference, not really noticeable, but also 3 or 4 do have differences of around 13 to 16 units, more or less (knowing that the MIDI range is 0-127).

My questions to everybody are: do you think those are acceptable differences, or is that really an abnormal situation? Should I ask the shop to repair it?

Actually, I sent it to the shop 2 or 3 weeks ago, and I've been told they haven't found anything wrong. But there is, for sure.

Really, many thanks in advance.
