When producing hardstyle, the kick changes length when shifting tone.
What program generate kicks with constant length no matter what tone you play?
kick length

you need a sampler with timestretch - kontakt or battery for instance - time is independent of pitch
come on you ..... lets have some aphex acid.

good idea, bass synth w/ pitch tracking to env time/ decay length/ or release time... routing to mod env as well as amp env.... thanks... i'll try and implement that in the next rebuid of uteot... if you've got a midi to cc rerouting device, you could experiment a bit and get it going on any synth w/ mod env.
hah... i just reread your post.... now i get it.... use a synth for your kicks instead of a sample.... i mean, yr talkng hardstyle right... with that sort of gabber+ thing going right... bow bownt bownt bownt... right? layer a kick sample (low tone, for the clip of a natural kick), and do the main tone of the kick w/ a synth... when you change tones with the synth it will stay the same length.... don't change the tone of the sample.... when you change the tone of a sample, you make it shorter.... unless you timestrech it... show me nondestructive timestrech....
