Hello,
question as titled. I have midi keyboard and I want to control two synth modules.
How can I hook them up to control those modules from one keyboard without repluging midi cables each time I want ot switch between synths?
Is it possible? I need something like midi signal switcher, which could switch outcoming midi signal to one or other module.

Alternatively I thought about splitting one midi route to two devices. Then I need assign one module to first (for example) 4 channels, and second to next 4s. But are there such midi splitters? In music stores I see only midi modules A-A B-B type.

Any solutions?

Thanks in advance

Hi Ruczag,
If either of your synth modules has midi thru, most do, run the controllers out to it's in and the modules thru to the other modules in presto.

Just happened to be right place at the right time :)
Out of curiousity what two synth modules are you using?

Novation Nova and Korg EMX. But in few days I will replace Korg with E-Mu Xtreme Lead in this setup. Korg will be just routed to mixer without midi triggering.
