record from my tt usb directly into fl studio/edison..i tried setting the "in" to c-media..but that didnt work..any ideas or suggestions?

What exactly is a "TT USB"?
In theory you should be able to record audio in FLS.
Don't know the details, since i don't use it.
It should be made clear in the manual how it works...

TT=Turntable.

If it's playing thru your audio card, you should be able to record it in your DAW. Check the manual, read the help files.

Doing that, you should be using the turntable's audio outputs routed through your PC's Line-in, unless the USB connection gives that functionality at PC level, then you should set soundcards and recording sources and stuff to match your needs.
