sincronize Fostex g-16 (with 8330) to computer

Hi, I have a Fostex G-16 analog recorder, with the 8330 midi card, and am trying to sincronize it to cubase sx3 on my computer, with a RME multiface audio card. I have downloaded the manuals from the fostexusa site, but I don't understand nearly nothing from that technical language. My english is not that good.
Pleeeease somebody help me. Explain me, in plain words, what I have to do to sincronize them.
