The dBu team has been over the fall development schedule, and though there is probably a big, big curveball coming that will change some things, here is what we're up to. Release dates are tentative and subject to change.

1: Anomaly 3. Daniel's Anomaly series reaches a climax with this third volume, and from this point on will be presented exclusively as a single, unified library. The 3rd volume is dedicated to pads, and will be released in multiple formats over November and December. Formats include sfz with presets for both Dimension and Rapture, Kontakt, Absynth, Sampletank and Wusikstation. An sf2 edition will be available as well.

2: The Sonic Universe trilogy for Dimension and Rapture, a 3-volume library with a projected phased release between December 2007 and spring 2008. The volumes will be Omniverse, Multiverse, and Metaverse. The volumes are each both self-contained libraries and complimentary extensions of each other. Designed from the sample level up to fully exploit the Cakewalk expression engine and the sfz specification, each volume will include a mix of the diversity and wonder of the musical and nonmusical audible world.

3: FXD 3 for Battery. If you can hit it, and we could get to it, it's in here. But this library unlike many drum libraries nowadays is not about mass, but taking a compact, essential and diverse set samples and using battery's synth engine to create a wide array of percussive timbres. December or January.

4: Konnektions for Kontakt. Definitely Kontakt 2, but maybe K3, depending on when we get the update and how much time goes into it. Instruments and Multis based on a large volume of new sampling as well as incorporating our CryptoTronix(CTX) and TemporalSonix(TSX) libraries. January 2008.

5: A bunch more stuff such as TSX Absynth Edition, TSX and CTX sf2 expanders for our Fortuity VSTi, and sets for Vertigo and possibly Dopplemangler. Release dates to be determined.

As for that big, big curveball that might change some of this scheduling, stay tuned.

Sounds great, but how about a redesigned website? Something less Tripod looking.

Thanks for your suggestion, that is in the works. What is a tripod? I take it that you're not talking about a 3-legged stand.

A Lycos-Tripod free website. Like an Angelfire or Geocities free website. Each one has a distinctive yet cheap look. Yours is more Tripod looking.

Anyway, looking forward to the new products.
