Recently i bought the m-audio Uno midi interface, coz on my new daw there's no gameport available anymore, and thats what i allways used on my old daw to connect my midi keyboards.
To install it was a piece of cake, but the problem starts in cubase. When i play a drum part with bass and snare, then i have to hold down the bd key before i can play the sd key,and so on.i can't release the keys like i normaly could, coz if i do that then the keyboard is not working anymore. After say 12 seconds then it's working again, but with the same problem.
Playing a synth is a disaster since it sounds like i am using a sustain pedal, even with bass sounds. It also happens that the sound doesn't stop anymore.I took the uno back to the shop and i got a new one,coz the shop owner and me also thought it was broken, but the new one still has the same problem.I also tried it on my old daw,and it gave the same problems.
Now i am thinking of buying a midi interface of a different brand,or to buy a cheap soundcard with gameport.I hope anyone can give me some advice.
My new daw is a Intel core 2 with 2048mb memory and a Nvidia 512 mb GeForce.
All other usb devices i have are working fine
I do my best, and my husband will do the rest :-D

forgot to tell that my recent midi keyboard is a Yamaha CS1X.Also when i keep moving one of the controller buttons then i can play my keyboard, but when i stop moving the controller button, then i'm getting the same problems again.I also used it with my Korg 01W,but same problem here. :(
