This came up in another thread, and I wanted opinions, so I've made a new thread with it: (and to re-iterate, I love Jeff's soundfonts)

Speaking of which: version 3c seems to me to be slightly off-center; that is, the stereo seems to be shifted slightly left. I e-mailed Jeff about it and he said he'd check into it and to see what other folks thought. Am I nuts?

Learjeff's Rhodes is the bomb. Apply some tremolo and Kjaerhus classic autofilter, beautiful stuff.

Dunno about the unbalanced stereo

Like I say, it's just version 3c (and it may just be my brain that's unbalanced).

Completely, agree (in case I've not made it clear) that whether the SF2 is unbalanced or not, it's a fantastic thing. (Thanks again, Jeff!)

I couldn't get EXS mkll or Kontakt 2 to load this sound. Is there some conversion that I'm missing?

Regarding this, is there a good, free SoundFont player for OSX?

Learjeff's Rhodes is a must for rhodes lover, especially when it's free
also wanna mention the Andrew Fatseas FreeRhodes soundfont kicks ass too.
sounds a bit more characteristic than Learjeff's Rhodes imo...

Not to toot my own horn too much, but I did a related thread here, in case you mossed it:

It's about layering three different free Rhodes samplesets to get a sound that I think rocks much harder, and is much more dynamic, than any of them alone. It's the only Rhodes that I load these days, and is extremely tweakable to suit your tastes. LeafJeff's soundfont is a big part of its goodness.
