Can i run ewsql platinum (very big orchestration) on a single computer, along with some other sample libraries? Is single hard disk enough or is an array of solid state disks required?

Platinum has been out for years, you definitely don't need solid state disks to run it. You can also definitely run it on one computer, depending on what you want to do. If you're going to load up all three mic positions for 50 instruments then yes, you will need more computers. If you're only using one mic position at a time, and you have 2-3gb of RAM and disk streaming, I think you could probably load around 30-40 patches without running into much difficulty.
