Hi friends,

today I wanted to work with my EMU Proteus X2, but it don't want to work with me again.

Always when I try to load a soundbank, then an error message comes, saying: Couldn't find all needed samples, perhaps they are broken... or so ... .

Puhh, I have deleted all the EMU Stuff and installed it new, but always the same error message...

I work on a PC with Windows XP home edition 2.

Any ideas?

I think I've encountered that problem with Emulator X.

It seems to me (I could have misread the cause of the problem) that if you reference a sample from another bank in a bank you're working on, and then delete it without ever saving your current bank, it deletes the sample from the sample pool of the bank you got it from.

That's just a best guess on my part; I brought up this issue on the unofficial E-MU help forums (at productionforums.com) and I didn't get noticed.

It could be something else; that's just the part of my experience that most closely corresponds with your description of the problem.
