I'm also having this trouble with FL Studio Producer. Using the mid-sized NS-kit that came along with DS-404 on a Computer Music CD a couple of months back, the DS-404 only has a couple of the samples loaded after opening a song. Thus, I have to reload the 404 file each time I open the song.3. "DS404 forgets all my samples when I save my song."
Users of earlier versions of Logic Audio, Cubasis and Cubase will suffer from this limitation. Their host software limits the amount of data DS404 is permitted to save into the song file. Upon reload DS404 sees that the file is has been truncated and re-initialises to empty. The only solution to this is to upgrade your Logic or Cubase to v5 or better or Cubasis v3 or better.
Is this also a host issue that just hasn't been mentioned about FL Studio yet, or am I missing something else? I've updated DS-404 to 1.11.
