Looking for velocity layered drum samples

I'm getting stuck into a major update to my drum sample player, erratic http://www.kvraudio.com/get.php?mode=show&id=2730
It's going well, almost ready for beta testing and I can see it being ready in early 2008
The new version has loads of new features, including 6 velocity layers per sample slot. I'm testing right now using the free version of ns_kit7, but I'm looking for a partner to supply a velocity layered kit to distribute with the plug-in.
Is there any KVR member who already supplies a vel layered sample pack and might want to put together a cut-down version for supply with erratic2?
If so, drop me a pm
cheers

wow, that's great news. I am really waiting for this!!
unfortunately, I do not have any packs to offer.
maybe try at http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/
and definately have a look at http://tchackpoum.free.fr/
the info is all in French, but from what I understood (it's a long time back that I learnt it) it is completely free.
and then, of course, have a look at http://www.kara-moon.com
cheers, akj

Have a look in our samplepool and look for the yPPse samples, all multi-layered

thanks all
I've had a couple of pm's and I think I've got some rather nice sample sets to offer with the next version

Hi de la Mancha,
did you ever think of making a vsti with just the step sequencer part of Eratic?
(eiether with the possibility to subhost a vsti or to drag created midi data to the host) That would be my dream.
cheers, akj

I'm tending away from step sequencing actually, mostly because the timing sync with some hosts is problematic.
The next version of erratic will be triggered by midi from your controller/piano-roll, which gets away from the sync problems and gives you more felxibility with note position, longer patterns and odd time signatures.
It will still have hit probability, velocity randomising, random swing and actually much more (hit repeat, velocity sensitive pitch/vol env/LP cutoff/cutoff env, 4 choke groups + more). It will also have midi out, so you can use it to trigger an external vst/drum machine. There are 15 sample slots and you can assign any midi note to any slot, so the midi out will have hit prob/hit repeat/swing applied to the midi in

sorry, but I have to admit to a problem with the 1.3 source file, it no longer works correctly, due to something with updates to the modules I used. That;s why I totally started from zero with the new version. I hope the new version is going to make you not even want 1.3 though

There's one guy who offers some slick looking VST's, drums, cymbals, and roto toms!de la Mancha wrote:Is there any KVR member who already supplies a vel layered sample pack and might want to put together a cut-down version for supply with erratic2?

G-Town Sounds might be another?
Perhaps, some of the Computer Music (magazine) samples could be used?
The Kitchen Kits might also offer a unique result.
These came to mind...
