librarian for jp8000 for mac

i love my jp. i hate that if i tweak a patch i cant save it without overwriting the original. is there a librarian for digital performer or that uses audio units that can save and create new patches for my jp on my lappie. i was looking at unisyn...but looks a little outdated and im not even sure it does what i want it to do.

any info helps
