I have ST2.x installed. The samples are all of SS2, and all the stuff from the recent SS2 group buy. I don't have SS2 engine installed as it all runs in ST. So what is a normal loading time. If I open ST in a host (any host) it takes over a minute before I see the interface. Is this because of the number of samples or some other issue?

do you have an option engaged that says something like "Relist at Startup"? if it is, uncheck it.

One of the really cool things about SampleTank 2.5 is the fast startup. Not only does it load up quickly, but patches load in an instant.

Kontakt 2/3 does not do this. It has long load times, which is really frustrating. Just another reason why ST is my go-to.
