Say I wanted to distribute some patches I've created in SC, to my friends(i.e. you ) thru the net, how would I save it in SC such that it plays back in my friend's computer exactly as I had programmed it? Do i save channel+samples, or group, or multi??

Keyman, save it as a multi and zip up the multi file with the multi's sound folder. Should be all you have to do. Users can then unzip to their SC presets folder, or wherever they keep their presets.

Thanks! Quick question : If you have a sound in Channel 1, and another one in channel 2, and if you load the multi in channel 1, doesn't it clear channel 2? Currently I'm saving everything as groups and it loads fine regardless of what channel I load it into, but if there's an advantage of saving in multi (perhaps when the patch uses multiple groups) then I can save it as a multi.
That, and I don't know what Save channel does. Doesn't seem to save the samples no matter what I do.
