LOL I guess so!bduffy wrote:That was a lousy thread title.
Im just getting tired of waiting now, Its been well over a year since I was told that directwave would be updated to have sample previews, mouse wheel scrolling and improved stability, I really could not care less about all of the chickensys issues.

May I suggest something like "I Wish DW would be updated soon" as a title?hadees wrote:LOL I guess so!bduffy wrote:That was a lousy thread title.

Yeah, or how about being able to zoom in to zones? They're SO tiny!

just off the op of my head, as I have not used it much lately because of problems, here are some things that bother me;ouroboros wrote:what has not worked properly for you?
I ask sincerely as I have not been too far underhood.
* importing of some sampler formats crashes the sampler.
* import of rex files sometimes crashes.
* built-in fx don't work with rex files.
* if you save a project in your host then reopen it, the samples are missing. you have to check off a "self contained" switch in the preferences. I think this makes for larger project file sizes as it is saving the samples again in a different location.
* sampler does not recognize embedded note data in the file or from the file name.
* previewing samples in the browser crashes the sampler.
* does not work in chainer.
try looking at the image line forum for more problems that directwave users are having. cheers.
