Which sound library/VSTi is capable of producing such sound?

What does it take to produce a synth string section like this one http://www.kvraudio.com/banks.php?s=lis ... order=date
I've called it (synth string) , the first on the page.

So which sound library/VSTi is able to reproduce this kind of sound. Or maybe you could give some tips that will build something like this from scratch, starting from a simple saw wave or something.

P.S. It would also be helpfull if you could help me describe this strings section in words - which will help acheiving it.

It sounds like a string synth - not surprising given its name. A little like a Solina (here's a Solina patch from the www.prokits.co.uk site if you want one: mp3 demo and web page.) I think the sound in that sample is not actually a Solina, but something a later and sample-based. You could probably get close by taking strings from a sample library or a digital piano (e.g. Yamaha P90), and running them through e.g., tape-saturation and rolling off the highs and lows a bit, maybe run it through a cheap chorus as well. To get something like sound in the sample play two different octaves of the same note simultaneously.

I wasn't thinking of a specific sample library (I used to have an EPS16+ sample that sounded sort of like this). You want one that doesn't have a lot of dynamics in the notes, just steady sustained tones, and then dirty it up a bit if its a nice hi-fi sample. I haven't run across a P90 vsti or patch, but a lot of digital pianos have this kind of string sound on them so if you've got access you could record your part or sample the sound. I was thinking it was not that critical which original string sample you used for this, the sound is more in the way it is used/processed.
