doesnt this one too use only included samples? (may be wrong on this one too, tho)Kai VejaR wrote: Addictive Drums???
it has ADSR afaik...JamminFool wrote:
i love DK+, but i thought you didn't want a step sequencer and i don't think it has ADSR per drum pad (since you eliminated VituaDrumz based on this...)
and you right tho about the step sequencer: that's a feature i dont need at all..
luckily its not in the main GUI mostly so i can ignore it
and no, i know Shortcircuit is causing a storm over here on kvr, but IMO it's way far from being an optimized drum-oriented-only sampler, GUIwize(after all, his ideal task would be filling the toutcourt sampler department)
thx for all the new inputs

hi dreaddd,
you probably caught this, but i meant sc2, not sc1. sc2 has a pad-view so GUI-wise it could work well for you...anyway, sorry to over-beat that drum ( ) if you knew what i meant.
cheers and good luck in your quest.

also: regarding DK+, i believe it only has attack and release for the compressors (on a per-bus basis), but not amp envelopes on a per-pad basis.
i await correction of course...

no sorry its all good ...actually i thought SC2 was still on beta and had the same gui almost from SC1...on the second statement i was wrong definitely, it seems, i should take a deeper look on that, thanx for pointing it out..
its still beta tho, so def a little scary to me ...but at least im gonna give it a try
on the DKplus side i start to think you were right on the ADSR ...i had this strange memory of me tweaking the ADSR on it while demoing....but i think i def was wrong...
damn!
that seemed almost a perfect substitute to me for the other features..
i just tried to contact 3 developers to hear what they think about inserting features or eventual other updates in the pipeline and keeping my fingers crossed...
if only NI wouldnt have chose the NI centre route! ..gosh how i hate C/R..
to me C/R is already nasty, but having to deal with the NI centre is even worse...
and im not the only one thinking like that...
im aware even of SHOPS using the Air keygen to avoid spending hours and hours everytime they set up several pcs with NI stuff to demo for the customers...so go figure..
maybe the answer is getting a S/H Battery 1 : that one should avoid the NI centre afaik, as it should be only serial number
but hell! Battery 1...,.,...and that would mean anyway getting back in the claws of NI
Peace

yeaaaaaah im still hammering my head to have not realized before that it was time for me to get a decent drum sampler, while the 99 dollars offer was still valid at LinPlug...
i should have jumped in at the time!
its put by default on insert bus 1 on almost every break i load up in phatmatik, for eventual super quick fast edit on the end of measures or such...
simple as **** and still effectively impressive when used in a track using several break snippets
Peace

yep! super cool in Live to map Disorder's cc's to keyboard controller knobs to tweak playback direction and pitch while using key range to map time and toggle "off/on" control button
resample 16 bars and run *that* thru the same track/fx again...repeat until golden brown and toasty, save the best bits for future use and feed the rest to the chickens
I loves me a good beat mangler
sorry for the OT...but you got me goin', dreaddd
I still say yer probably gonna dig grizzly if ya haven't already tried it.
