Running Sample Libraries on multiple PCs / Vista

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has a good setup for running large sample libraries on one separate, or multiple separate PCs?

In particular sample libraries such as Kontakt 3, EWQLSO Platinum, and Synthogy Ivory, which seem to run out of processing / RAM fast.

Currently I have an AMD X2 4600 2GB Windows XP system running Cubase 4. I'm considering an upgrade to a quad core Vista system but it would be nice to still use the current machine to help run some of the larger libraries.

Has anyone managed to run a lot of sample libraries in Vista (theoretically no real limit to the amount of RAM that you can use?)
