You need to work on your spelling. The correct word would have been "miraculously," and even that is somewhat awkward in this instance.brok landers wrote: please, someone mirically correct me ...

You do know that english is not his native language, right?ouroboros wrote:You need to work on your spelling. The correct word would have been "miraculously," and even that is somewhat awkward in this instance.brok landers wrote: please, someone mirically correct me ...
It is so sad that this plugin wasn't finished. It could outsell almost anything on the market if it was completed with a decent GUI. Sad.

bduffy, thanks for defending me ...
though you don't have to, as this post was looong ago, and he already apologized ...
and yes, vanilla compressor is still a secret weapon ... too bad nobody will ever be able to do a gui for it, though someone did with mgui, afaik ...
that leads me to a question:
do i need to have mgui installed, if i want to use any plugs of which guis we're made with mgui?
or can i just download a recompiled dll from asseca's website?
sorry for the hijack ...

'yep I have nothing but respect for brok, here. I was just teasing him a bit
It is a shame about the compressor.
I tend to the extremes when I use compressors, but vanilla compressor stayed sweet despite my clumsiness.

Ah, OK. I thought it was weird that someone who's been around as long as you was making fun of his english. Never mind.
For some reason, Vanilla often resets on me. Does that happen to anyone else?

yeah, all the time.
I thought I was doing something wrong, but I find I have to save a preset before I hit transport just in case.

You've got it all wrong. Current politicians insist on the reverse order:brok landers wrote:![]()

<-- in that order ...
Cheers!

PS. yes, chunkware seems to be gone. Not only vanilla is dumped but he was planning another compressor as well which he said was much more complex and of a higher overall sound quality.
