This happened a long time ago too. I tried installing the latest driver and restarting my computer but nothing I do will make my computer recognize it.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

uninstall from add/remove programs
unplug or turn it off
restart
install the new driver
then it should work

Thanks anyway, but it still won't work.
It shows up in the controll panel, but when i click on it, it says "Because no device was detected, this panel could not open. If you're sure a device is connected properly to the computer, you may need to re-install the driver."
