I'm considering getting a Zoom H4 as an all-in-one mobile recording solution. But I've read here and from a few other places that its ASIO driver is very buggy or even unusable. And even ASIO4ALL only works in 48 kHz mode. Well, this kind of holds me back somewhat.
Could any H4 users here confirm this? What is the latency you get when you successfully use ASIO? Low latency is very important as I plan to use it as a mobile audio interface for my guitar as well. Thanks!

I used asio4all with it.
I can't even recall the last time I used native asio drivers.
I'm not sure what you mean by the 48khz comment... you plan on using higher resolution? I don't think the H4's use as a soundcard can go above that. It does various things in different modes.
For instance, you can't use mic modeling in sound card mode.

Ah, no, what I mean is, I'm not sure whether it works in 44.1kHz under ASIO4ALL.
