Anyone had any luck getting ideal performance out of their October 07 to Jan 08 macbooks/mbp's via firewire cards? Apple has moved away from using TI chipsets and has been using a cheap Lucent firewire chipset that has audio card manufacturers declaring them to be incompatible (see: Presonus, Edirol, and MOTU)
