Anybody know of a free app that can "join" several CD tracks into 1 track? I know that many burning roms can set the "pause interval" to 0 but Im actually looking to join several tracks into 1 track or set a play "pause interval" to 0.
I have an Ipod and use Itunes and the lowest it lets you set the interval to is 1sec. I have a continuous mix that was chopped into tracks so there is the 1sec break when the tracks come to an end and it kills the overall live mix.
I'd rather not open them all then copy/paste them into Audacity to make one track.
Thanks!

You haven't said what format you want to join (are they cda, wav, mp3, ogg etc).
If they are mp3 files you're probably going to have to load them into a wave editor because mp3 files always have a small amount of silence at the beginning, it's something to do with the way the encoding works.

Well, that's still the way I do it... A bit cumbersome, but works a treat!rvltion909@yahoo.com wrote:Anybody know of a free app that can "join" several CD tracks into 1 track?

My MusicCalc is temporary offline.

Yup, mp3s will definitely have to be manually joined if you want clean edits. As I've said the mp3 encoding always adds a little space so you'll have to edit out all those little spaces.
