I just got a Zoom H2 digital field recorder for my birthday yesterday. Uploaded a field recording today, a nature soundscape from the area around Kalundborg Fjord. Birds, crows, an owl and a single woodpecker, distant rumble and distant cars.

It's licensed under the Creative Commons Sampling Plus 1.0 License. Can be downloaded in a 320 Kbps MP3 from my website.

Thanks...noisy round there, isn't it! Next time take something along to pick off a few of those crows.

You will be amazed at how penetrative those crows can be, hope they are not too near to your home - I am sometimes driven to the point of wanting to kill all the ones round here

Love the woodpecker though and the wing flutters

Thanks VERY much:). I record - with a simple minidisc-recorder - whatever I can find, but never made it to the Fjords . (Or, better, was there one time, aged only, he he). Tanks much.
