Saw this too. Looks amazing and can't wait to upgrade. Sounded very dynamic and alive to me (well, as much as could be discerned through a compressed video streamed off the 'net). Loved the ability to mix in samples recorded through a bullet mic into a Mesa Boogie amp. Thought this was a particularly cool way to add distortion to drum tracks while preserving phase. On the Toontrack forum though they said it wouldn't be released until May-June. Darn.

I watched the video earlier as well, I am really looking forward to this, never heard sampled drums sound quite that good.

I was thinking: I hope there'll be a crossgrade path for EZ-Drummer owners. There is, 100$ off. My only prob is that I still want Addictive Drummer. And Jamstix 2. Someone borrow me a coin!

Can anyone tell me what is the kit that Nir Z playing in the NAMM video? Is that an electric drumkits or it's a acoustic kit with triggers?

I don't recognize the kit, but it wouldn't make much sense to use an acoustic kit for the DFH demo! It looks very real, though, whatever it is; especially the cymbals...
