1st of all, let me thank you 4 this USEABLE plug. most things never see the light of day, but this thing is pretty cool.

Xcept ;) ... I was fiddling around with it yesterday while playing sound and somehow the faders kept jumping around like they had been automated. Not all of them did this put some did. Pretty strange. Anyway I'm gonna go look into it later and see if I can give you NE details.

Host: orion platinum

also what the hell does 'steal' do? Sry I don't read NE help files :o

Pfewww... You just scared the hell out of me ;-)
I guess there must have been some MIDI (or host) automation going on, yes. If you ever encounter the same behavior again, could please tell me anyway? Just in case our beta testers might have overlooked something, but they're pretty though these days, so I guess not...

And thanks for the nice words! Glad you like it!

Haha! Maybe you should (I did spend some time explaining things in that file) ;-)
Simply put, it just re-uses an already active grain in case a new grain is requested and the limit has been reached (much like note stealing in synths). If it's not on (no grain stealing) a grain is only generated if there are free grains available at the moment a grain is needed (this is controlled by the Inter Onset Time (IOT) parameter).
I hope this helped!
