Manybass demo- remapping staccato notes

Hi, I'm trying out the Manybass demo. I have a 49-key midi controller, and I want to map the staccato notes an octave down. Is this possible, in either the demo or the full version?

In the full version, you can edit the soundsets using the Manytone Mapper (free to customers I believe), so you could customize the mapping to suit your MIDI keyboard.

Oh. Huh. That makes the demo effectively useless to anyone with a 49 or less key controller, and thus I can't really try it to see if I would want to buy it.
