eSoundz.com you can't sell a product and then not deliver.
Your latest (1st?) group buy is lacking. It's two days after the end of the group buy and the sounds are STILL not available to download from your website.

Hey, here is a neat idea. Why doesn't eSoundsz FedEx (overnight of course) me their entire sound catalog. I'll send you a check to pay for it when I get around to it.

plus squidz disclosed all along that it would be available in pieces. He is still creating the bonuses, which weren't a given until a few days ago. I know the original thread is 70-+ pages, but esoundz has done primarily what it said it would do. You got precisely what you bargained for.

I vote no. We're getting so much more than we were promised at the beginning, that I'm pinching myself. If it takes a little extra time, I'm fine with that. I'm sure it will be worth it.

The hair trigger issue was buying a non-existant product. My bad.
But don't get on my back because I paid for something and didn't receive it, and then had the GALL to complain about it.
My detractors seem to be in the know. When will calamari deliver his promised soundz? Is there a time? Perhaps a day? Can I get a month? Just wondering.

I never received an email nor was anything posted on the esoundz website telling me I was buying a product "in the works" My order confirmation emails never mentioned it either.

I'm not on your back. Check the results so far. Expectations were set in the thread and you could always call them and ask instead of bitching here. Should have expected the outcome as it played out so far. Their phone number was posted and they are always willing to talk to their customers.

What a complete asshole idiot this granted is. If you buy something where the seller has explained the conditions of the sale before you buy, I don't see where you have a place to gripe about it. I buy tickets for concerts before the concert, so how is this any different? The group buy is a ticket to participate in the GB, and the GB is delivered based on the GB conditions that are spelled out. What I say is this, give this jerk whatever you have ready now, and screw him on the rest. Those of us that have the decency to live by the GB conditions can get the full product. As far as I'm concerned, the GB is such a huge savings, and a huge bang for the buck, I see no problem in holding my ticket to get the stuff over the next week or two. I've already gotten more than enough from IK Multimedia to justify the GB as it is. All the rest is gravy, and terrific delicious gravy at that. Just offer to refund this jerk the money for the GB and screw him completely out of the deal of a lifetime. That should teach him. Send the $199 back to him, right up his asshole. Oh, and of course, I voted no on the stupid survey. A retard like this shouldn't be allowed to be part of GB's. I'm glad I'm a nice guy, as if I weren't, I'd really let this guy have it. :hihi:

Hehehe calex speaketh the truth. Personally I agree - if I were dealing with this issue it would be "refund now or wait and get the GB like everybody else". Otherwise STFU.

Also, did you happen to notice we got the SampleTank engine serial (and the free IK plugin if you were able to follow directions well and had only slightly more motivation than a sloth) BEFORE THE GROUP BUY OFFICIALLY ENDED? Sorry for shouting, but I just wanted to make sure granted understands that. Maybe we should bitch that we got something early too, just to be fair?

Edit... popping some popcorn to see how big a hole we'll see someone dig themselves here :)

Ouch. This is not eSoundz/Sonic Reality's first group buy. It's just the latest. Given what is in it and its size, I am not surprised at all that the Sonic Reality team is putting it up in stages. 400+ people hammering their servers at the same time for multi-gigabyte downloads would be brutal even for a company with huge pipes - Microsoft for instance. Sonic Reality is != Microsoft in terms of pipe size.

But for sure, one thing that makes Sonic Reality > Microsoft is the team - Squids and his crew. They love what they do and it shows.

Would it have been nice to have everything in place for the group buy download right when it ended? Of course. Do I expect that of Sonic Reality? Nope. They are a small team with huge hearts. Will they deliver? Absolutely. Was it worth it? Oh hell yeah.

And before you drop the fanboi label on me, check some of my other posts wrt IK Multimedia - I may have even grumped at Squids a time or two. But I've never doubted SR's love of what they do or their integrity.

So hey, minus several million points on you for style. You could have broached your concerns with so much more class than you did.

Oh, goodie - now instead of tittering about the group buy in the old thread, we can fight about it on this one. Mr. Granted needs to brush up on his retorts, however, or it's not gonna be much fun.

For myself, I'm still waiting for the official word on what exactly we should do to get the Bonus Bank. In between flaming this guy, can the first guy in please send notice of what they've done to successfully get the bonus?

I still think yanking this guy's GB is the best response. He's unhappy obviously, and he feels cheated and wronged. Hand him his money back and see if that makes him happy, while the rest of us fanboys party and celebrate our good fortune and all the cool stuff we got for a song. I'll be anyone fan that gives me great deals and stands by their product. Here's to the next group buy, and please, granted, stay out of it. We can find anyone else to add to the count rather than you. Back granted out. We've got far enough already over 400.

Email eSound tech support and they will email you back a confirmation about the Bonus bank and they will send the info by email when it is ready. Sounds nicely worked out. The tech support email and reply work as your receipt for asking for this item and that you are logged to get it.
