We've had a few mails now from people who haven't been able to install the Muon Collection. If you get an error message "Nothing to Install, aborting", there IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR INSTALLER. You simply haven't selected any components to install.
To select a component, make sure that you click in the column to the LEFT of the component name as indicated in the dialog text, and in the readme file. If you click in the correct place a large tick will appear and the disk space required for the component will be calculated. If you click on the component text, the tick will not appear and nothing will be installed.
This appears to be some kind of glitch in installshield where it is not showing a little empty box to the left of the component. We are looking into why this should happen.
Regards
Dave

Well I tried that, but to the right it shows 0k of info to be installed so it still aborts. Have downloaded twice now. Could it be that I am on XP?

It will only give you the 0k message if nothing is selected. Just click TO THE LEFT of the component name AND NOT ON THE TEXT.
When you do this, it will work.

It's not perfect though. Many, many people seem to get it OK, and a handful don't. I wish installshield would just display the little squares to click in!!!
We'll be changing the installers as soon as possible. There HAS to be some way around this!
Cheers

The installers have now all been changed. There are seperate installers for each product demo and platform. There's also still a "Muon Collection" download, this is the ONLY place you can now get the original Tau Bassline Mk2.
Kind regards
