hi squids,
i'm interested in both samplemoog and sampletron. however, on ikmultimedias website i couldn't find a list of presets for both instruments.
could you provide some information regarding this topic.

You can use the "tree" command running it in your "cmd" window:

- click Start >> Run
- type "cmd" (without the quotes), click OK
- change to a sensible directory, by typing: cd My Documents and press Enter
- assuming that your SampleTron instruments are in D:\IK Multimedia\SampleTron\Instruments
- type the following command: tree D:\IK Multimedia\SampleTron\Instruments" >> tron.txt /a /f and press Enter
- type exit and press Enter

This will produce a text file listing all the files in a hierarchy, in your My Documents folder.

Because of the quality and the wealth of included instruments in Samplemoog, Sampletron went from not interested in it, to a Must Buy on my list. But, know that I'm not an expert in analog history like a lot of people here are. If there is anything missing, I don't know what it could be.

That's all I have to give.

Question: Is the SampleTron the way to go or do I wait for the upgrade to M-Tron Pro?

If only M-Tron pro would come

At the end, if you really love this kind of sounds you will want to have all available

So i would get what is already available and enjoy it.

Actually it does. It makes sense. I do like the Mellotron sounds, so the more the better. Thanks.
