Need some help with this small piece

This isnt strictly music theory i suppose but i wasnt sure where to put it.

I would like to do a version of this piece

I am not sure what the the time sig should be, i think its 4/4 and i reckon its 110bpm. I have tried lining it all up in cubase sx3 but it seems to drift off after a dozen or so bars.

Would i be correct in thinking the timing of the piece is out rather than my calcs of what i think it is ?

is there a way i can fairly easily "correct" the piece so i can line it up with a midi track ?.

I had a look at the time stretch function but didnt have much of a result,would time warp or hit points be the route to take ?

Any help or advice from this guitarist with limited musical knowledge will be most welcome and greatly appreciated

Thats odd, i just clicked the link and i was able to d/load it.

Try again maybe it was just a temp problem, if it still wont work i'll up it somewhere else.
