Squids,

Roughly 24 hours ago I purchased the downloadable version of the Reason Refill of Miroslav Philharmonik: Choirs from esoundz.com...and I simply had to tell you that you -and the rest of the crew who did the programming for this particular Refill- have done a fantastic job of bringing the Miroslav Choirs to Reason. These are precisely what I have been looking for for quite some time and I couldn't be more pleased with the sound set in question even if I tried. :D Two big thumbs up. :tu: :tu:

However...you might want to reconsider adding the bonus materials to the respective Refills. Why? Because it's detrimental for business. I was also kind of eyeing the String Sections Refill for a future purchase, but the bonus stuff might have already covered what I want there. On the other hand...I know how I am...I'll have to have the thing sooner or later.

Which brings me to my final point...any chance that an item like SampleTron might one day see a Reason Refill treatment? Just wondering...no immediate hurry... (Do it now, damn it! NOW!) :P Seriously though...a possibility???

Kudos and cheers,
(A very happy) Jerod

Sonic Refills Vol. 20: Mello-T is a good place to start. Have you checked it out?

Also, I believe there was some talk of releasing one of the tron collections in reason format.

Saw that. Unfortunately, it's difficult to tell if...I know the audio demos for a lot of software instruments and sample sets online are MP3s and they always sound a little "fuzzy" to me. I appreciate the convenience they offer, i.e., relatively small file size, but the sonic quality leaves something to be desired. Perhaps I'm a spoiled sonic brat?

Yeah, I know, I just bought (and raved about) the Miroslav Choirs Refill, but much of that purchase was based on favorable things I'd heard about Miroslav Philharmonik proper. I figured that given the time, energy and resources that were undoubtedly invested in MP that a Refill version would see similar care and attention to detail, insofar as the Reason format would allow. It appears I was right about that, and I've already expressed my pleasure about such. 8) So...I'm thinking I'll make the best of the Tron type sounds I have in the Reason soundbank for now and wait and see if SampleTron comes to that format...or has another group buy attached to ST proper. Whichever happens first.
