Problem with BCR/BCF USB driver installation !

I have both a BCR and BCF (v1.10 updates).

They are plugged in through 2 separate front USB ports on my PC (Asus P5B WiFi Delux motherboard, E6600 cpu, 2 GB Corsair RAM, Windows XP SP3 etc.).

After replacing the motherboard, I cannot get the USB drivers to install properly - all I can get is the BCR & BCF listed as Midi In devices in software (e.g. FLS 8 ), but they refuse to appear as Midi Out devices !.

Reason 4 also fails to detect them - presumably because they can't "see" them because the driver Midi Out function isn't working.

I've tried with both the old v1.1.1.1 (which worked fine before) and the newer 1.2.1.3), following the instructions exactly e.g. allowing Windows to install the generic USB drivers, then running the setup.exe file.

I'm tearing my hair out over this - anyone got any suggestions (apart from contacting their support, which I've already done)?

Try to pull out the usb cables install the drivers and then plug them in again.
